🛠️ HOW TO APPLY WALLPAPER
Your complete step-by-step guide for a flawless wallpaper installation at home.
🧰 Equipment You’ll Need
To get started, make sure you have the following tools:
Pencil,Cutter,Brush,Upholsterer’s spatula,Glue roller,Bucket,Plumb line,Wallpaper glue
📏 Wallpaper Format
Each wallpaper roll is 100 cm wide, and Rolls are numbered to be applied from left to right There are no overlaps between rolls — each one aligns precisely next to the previous
🔍 Before You Begin
A 5 cm bleed is added: At the bottom of every roll (height) and
5 cm at the top and 10 cm
On the right edge of the last roll only (width)
📝 Example:
For a 300 cm wide × 270 cm high wall, your wallpaper will arrive as:
Width: 310 cm, Height: 280 cm
📦 When You Receive Your Order
Keep the wallpaper stored flat if installation is delayed Unroll and inspect each roll:
Ensure correct size, numbering, and color consistency
Make sure the wall names match if your order includes multiple walls
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
1️⃣ Prepare the Wall
1-Fill any cracks or holes and sand the surface smooth
2-Clean the wall thoroughly
3- Around outlets or switches, cut a cross and fold corners inward after application
2️⃣ Prepare the Glue
Mix glue according to the package instructions
3️⃣ Position the First Roll
The installation must be carried out from left to right (looking at the wall): behind each roll there is a number in progression indicating the order in which the rolls are laid from left to right.
4️⃣ Apply the Glue
You may apply glue on the wall or directly on the back of the wallpaper
Spread glue evenly with a brush or roller
5️⃣ Install Each Roll
Carefully place the roll, smoothing it top to bottom and align each new roll edge to edge with no gap Using a spatula to eliminate air bubbles
6️⃣ Clean & Trim
While the glue is fresh, remove excess with a soft cloth
Use a sharp cutter and ruler to trim extra paper from the bottom and right side
